Admit it. You have never read it and even if you were in an accident you wouldn’t think to read it, assuming you could even find it.

In the series of articles that follow we will look at the various sections of a standard insurance policy. So go find your policy and dec sheet or, if it has disappeared, call your agent and ask that a replacement copy be sent.

Why should you bother? You have probably heard that ‘ignorance is no defense’ or that ‘education is expensive’. So, you can educate yourself now or wait till you are in an accident and discover the true cost of ignorance.
